Xmas Spree

T’is the season to spend loads of money, sha la la la la, la la la la. Is this the real reason for Christmas? Have we totally commercialised the biggest religious holiday on the planet, well maybe with a little help from our friends across the pond! We spend 100’s of millions of pounds on presents, going out, holidays and entertaining over the festive season, and this is fuelled by advertising gone mad in the build up to the celebrations. How do we fund the crazy consumer spending, well put it on your newly acquired credit card, with interest free for 6 months, but do you pay it off in the first 6 months, more often then not, no. Before you know it the little extra you spent on presents has now accrued interest, and is costing you 30% more then anticipated. The minimum monthly payments are unmanageable, and your getting final demand letters from the credit card companies. Don’t let your Christmas season turn into a festive hangover from hell, if you’ve got yourself into a position you feel you can’t get out of, call one of the many advice debt line companies you can find on the internet. They will go through your finances with you, let you know your rights as a consumer, suggest the best options available to you and even act upon them and start negotiations for you. They will act on your behalf, incorporate all your income and expenditure and give you a liveable amount in your pocket every month. All your debts, not just card debts, will be rolled into one monthly payment paid to your financial management company will distribute that evenly and fairly between all your creditors.
